Among the many various topics to study and the countless books that line up the book stores and libraries as well as the internet, people have an unlimited access at their disposal to research and study anything that they desire. However among the access that is available, not everything is good out there. people have access to filthy websites and dirty books, the occult is looming large and has been corrupting the young minds of todays youth whom are seeking things spiritual and looking for answers, Occultic video games, Occultic books, secular humanistic teaching which filters through many variety of children's books and text books in the public school system which are teaching them relativism, atheism and evolution, same sex marriage and abortion rights, feminism, adultery, anti-family values, anti-christian propaganda, and other ungodly propaganda; Not only are these things being taught in public school, and in the text books but most certainly in the media and political affiliations. Its obvious that as this country grows more and more ungodly and more secularized, we will see an even more increase in murder, theft, abortion, disregard for human life, racism, atheism, selfishness, despair, suicide, homosexuality, relativism,promiscuity,bi-sexuality,self-obsession,no-fault divorce,guilt-free sex education, the list goes on... If this country, the secularists and those that are lost would just turn to the truth which is revealed in the Bible, as for instance 2 Chronicles 7:14- ''If My people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land'' If this nation will return to what it was originally founded upon by our forefathers, the Biblical standards of morality, civil government, prayer, godly leaders, then I believe God will bless this nation and make it prosper, unless this happens, then Gods wrath and Judgement abides on it. This nation needs an outpouring of Gods spirit in revival to bring us back, so I implore you all in the name of the Most High God to Pray for this nation to repent and turn back to God in Christ, because Christ is the truth.
Creation science is a field of significant importance to biblical Christianity, It traces back to the foundations of the faith, Genesis which is the beginning of everything. Origins is perhaps the most complex, debated, and controversial issues facing humanity today, and this issue is not just facing Christianity and religion but the public school system as well. We each have a world view by which we see the world and how it effects our behavior and morality and of course our concept of God. I will affirm that there are really just two basic world views that people have, one for instance is the belief that the world and universe came from a cosmic big bang 20 billion years ago from nothing without any divine intervention. This is called the humanist world view. (Humanists regard the world as self-existing and not created), The other is some look at world and universe and believe that there is an intelligent designer that created everything; This is called the creationist world view. These two world views are polar opposite and are at war with each other; even the late famous evolutionist Sir Arthur Keith said that the two world views were at war with each other. Now I understand that their are various interpretations on the two world views, for instance the creationist world view: There are two groups that support this view, the old earth creationists which believe the earth is billions of years old but was created by God in which they lean to the theistic evolutionary position, gap theorists, day age theorists. The young earth creationists believe the earth was created by God in 6 literal 24 hour solar days about 6,000 to 10,000 years ago. Those that support the humanist world view obviously lean on the atheistic side also fall into two main groups: some believe the universe came from a cosmic explosion or a big bang about 20 billion years ago while the other group regard the universe as always been, it is infinitely old which is illogical and refuted by the law of entropy. Yet both can agree that the universe is self-existing and not created as the humanist manifesto quotes in their doctrine. Somebody is obviously wrong. I have been studying this issue for several years and have watched much debate regarding all issues of this and have heard and seen the evidences presented on both sides, I stand as a young earth creationist and believe the earth is 6,000 years old tracing the biblical geneologies back to Adam. God created the heavens and the earth in the beginning and done it in 6 literal 24 hour solar days about 6,000 years ago. (Genesis 1:1) and that Adam, the first man and Eve the first woman were created in the beginning on day 6 of the creation week (1 Corinthians 15:45, Matt. 19:4). I also believe as geology confirms with an unbiased analysis that there was a world wide flood about 4,400 years ago where God judged the world and wiped out the population of the Pre-Flood world. Only Noah and his family and 2 of every kind and 7 of some were saved which includes dinosaurs. Yes dinosaurs were part of the ordinary creation being just big lizards that lived with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Dinosaurs, animals, and people were vegetarian before the flood; And understanding there are indeed critics of the flood and the bible as stated in 2 Pet. 3:3-8 which tells us that people who scoff at the Bible are "willingly ignorant" of the Creation and the Flood. In order to understand Science and the Bible, we must not be ignorant of those two great events in Earth’s history. Below, I will submit some crucial information about Noah and the Flood and your left to examine the evidence with a hopefully open mind:
Further information pertaining to creationism is if Adam and Eve were literal and indeed the first people on the planet, lets consider what God's word says: The Bible says that Adam was the first man (1 Corinthians 15:45). Eve was called the Mother of all living (Genesis 3:20). The Bible makes it very clear that because of Adam, all die (1 Corinthians 15:22), and in Christ, all can have life (1 Corinthians 15:22). Therefore, if other people are alive that did not descend from Adam, they cannot be saved. Christ came to redeem all who have died in Adam. So Adam and Eve were the first literal humans, created about 6,000 years ago at the end of Creation Week. Some people feel that there had to have been others living around the time of Adam and Eve because of a "problem" with whom Cain would have married. Cain was Adam and Eve’s son. The Bible explains how Cain killed his brother, Abel, and was banished for what he had done. The Bible says Cain went to the land of Nod, and knew his wife. Some people feel that this means Cain met his wife in Nod. So the question is, if Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel, and Cain killed Abel, who did Cain marry? It appears that the question is answered by suggesting that other people unrelated to Adam and Eve were alive at the time, however, if we learn to stick with God's Word, and not man's fallible word, we will never be let down. Genesis 5:4 explains how Adam lived 800 years and had sons and daughters! How many kids could two people have in 800 years! So Cain would have more than likely married a sister of his. This would take us into a whole new question of "Is it right for them to marry brothers and sisters". The laws forbidding it weren't given until over 2000 years later. Secondly, they wouldn't experience any of the genetic problems we have today with close-relational breeding.
I will continue by stating that the flood and the overwhelming evidence of a young earth creation and the lie of the religion of evolution that has been just a hindrance to common sense and intelligent thinking.... Evolution theory is the foundation philosophy for Racism, Communism, Marxism, Abortion, Immorality, Atheism, etc. Evolution has done nothing to benefit humanity. Secular humanists are following the path of the evolution lie and scoffing at the bible, the flood, biblical morality, God and His moral Law. The evolution religion is indoctrinating the young minds of kids in the public school system all the way to college. Its nothing but a dumb theory and has no evidence to back it up, it has been proven wrong long ago, but that's the only origins that students in schools are being taught. There is much debate over these issues, creation vs evolution, regardless if its old earth creation or young earth creation, the war for the minds of today's generation is waging in the classrooms and throughout the media, the arts, politics and so forth. The debate over evolution vs. creation is not just a dry technical argument concerning isotopic dating methods, dinosaur bones, or whether mutations can turn pond scum into people. What we believe about where we came from determines how we view life, and ultimately, our actions. Answers to such basic questions as "Where did we come from?", "What is the purpose of life?", and " How do we determine right from wrong?" are derived directly from our belief about our origin. If we are just the result of random chance changes that turned swamp gases into people, then life has no ultimate purpose or meaning...each person must determine for themselves what is right or what is wrong. I will say that Truth is absolute and that truth is in Christ Jesus. your eternity depends on how you view the world. I will write more articles on the evidence for design and a young earth soon and publish it for all to view. go to the Link section for further research. http://www.drdino.com/
Interesting Information about Noah's Ark:
The account of Noah and the Ark is one of the most widely known events in the history of mankind. Unfortunately, like other Bible accounts, it is often taken as a mere fairy tale.
The Bible, though, is the true history book of the universe, and in that light, the most-asked questions about the Ark and Flood of Noah can be answered with authority and confidence.
The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits (Genesis 6:15).
Unlike many whimsical drawings that depict the Ark as some kind of overgrown houseboat (with giraffes sticking out the top), the Ark described in the Bible was a huge vessel. Not until the late 1800s was a ship built that exceeded the capacity of Noah’s Ark.
The dimensions of the Ark are convincing for two reasons: the proportions are like that of a modern cargo ship, and it is about as large as a wooden ship can be built. The cubit gives us a good indication of size.1 With the cubit’s measurement, we know that the Ark must have been at least 450 feet (137 m) long, 75 feet (23 m) wide, and 45 feet (14 m) high. In the Western world, wooden sailing ships never got much longer than about 330 feet (100 m), yet the ancient Greeks built vessels at least this size 2,000 years earlier. China built huge wooden ships in the 1400s that may have been as large as the Ark. The biblical Ark is one of the largest wooden ships of all time—a mid-sized cargo ship by today’s standards.
Americans Divided on the Importance of Church
March 25, 2014 — What, if anything, helps Americans grow in their faith? When Barna Group asked, people offered a variety of answers—prayer, family or friends, reading the Bible, having children—but church did not even crack the top-10 list.
March 6, 2009 –If Jesus were to ask, “Who do you say I am,” the question He famously asked his disciple Peter, He would be disappointed by some of the answers He’d receive from contemporary Americans.
A new nationwide survey conducted by The Barna Group among a representative sample of adults explored how many have what might be considered a “biblical worldview.” The report from Barna compared current results to the outcomes from a similar survey the company conducted in 1995, 2000 and 2005.
For the purposes of the survey, a “biblical worldview” was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists; the Bible is totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches; Satan is considered to be a real being or force, not merely symbolic; a person cannot earn their way into Heaven by trying to be good or do good works; Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth; and God is the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the world who still rules the universe today. In the research, anyone who held all of those beliefs was said to have a biblical worldview.
Overall, the current research revealed that only 9% of all American adults have a biblical worldview. Among the sixty subgroups of respondents that the survey explored was one defined by those who said they have made a personal to commitment to Jesus Christ that is important in their life today and that they are certain that they will go to Heaven after they die only because they confessed their sins and accepted Christ as their savior. Labeled “born again Christians,” the study discovered that they were twice as likely as the average adult to possess a biblical worldview. However, that meant that even among born again Christians, less than one out of every five (19%) had such an outlook on life.
The same questions were asked of respondents in national surveys by Barna in 1995, 2000 and 2005. The results indicate that the percentage of adults with a biblical worldview, as defined above, has remained unchanged for more than a decade. The numbers show that 7% had such a worldview in 1995, compared to 10% in 2000, 11% in 2005, and 9% now. Even among born again adults, the statistics have remained flat: 18% in 1995, 22% in 2000, 21% in 2005, and 19% today.
Components of Worldview Thinking
Varying numbers of Americans embrace the different aspects of biblical worldview thinking. The survey found that:
Differences among Demographic Segments
The research data showed that one pattern emerged loud and clear: young adults rarely possess a biblical worldview. The current study found that less than one-half of one percent of adults in the Mosaic generation – i.e., those aged 18 to 23 – have a biblical worldview, compared to about one out of every nine older adults.
Other groups that possess a below average likelihood of having a biblical worldview included people who describe themselves as liberal on social and political matters (also less than one-half of one percent); Catholics (2%); Democrats (4%) and residents of the Northeast (4%).
Ongoing research by The Barna Group on these matters consistently demonstrates the powerful impact a person’s worldview has on their life. A worldview serves as a person’s decision-making filter, enabling them to make sense of the complex and huge amount of information, experiences, relationships and opportunities they face in life. By helping to clarify what a person believes to be important, true and desirable, a worldview has a dramatic influence on a person’s choices in any given situation.
Barna’s research has discovered that there are unusually large differences in behavior related to matters such as media use, profanity, gambling, alcohol use, honesty, civility, and sexual choices.
